The Cumberland County Commission met for a special called session last night (Tuesday, September 8, 2020). The purpose of the meeting was to elect officers, assign members to various committees and to reappoint Philip Burnett as the county attorney. County Mayor Allen Foster once again was selected chairman, Terry Lowe is chairman pro-tem, and Nancy Hyder was elected parliamentarian. All votes were unanimous.
