CUMBERLAND COUNTY COUPLE OUT $60,000 AFTER BANK ACCOUNT ACCESSED TO SELL STOCKS
Last Friday, a couple in their 70s reported to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office someone fraudulently wired $60,000 from their Ally Bank account.
Their stocks were attacked through the bank account. The suspect using the name Donna Woods sold the stocks and wired the money to an unknown location at the time of the report.
They said this was the third time in the past two years that a large amount of money was wired from his bank account without their knowledge.
The case is under investigation by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and TBI.
