A man was taken into custody by Cumberland County deputies at the Anderson County jail early this morning on a capias for child sex crimes. The indictment handed down last October by the Cumberland County grand jury states 22-year-old Isacc Benjamin Carreras of Knoxville faces rape of a child, rape and statutory rape. The incident reportedly took place in January 2018 involving a child less than 13 years old. Carreras was transported to the Cumberland County jail this morning and initially placed under a quarter million dollar bond. He is scheduled for arraignment March 23, 2020.
