CUMBERLAND COUNTY DEPUTIES RESPOND TO BURGLARY ON BILLY GOAT ROAD
On May 19, 2026, at approximately 8:14 a.m., Deputy Ronald Fields of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on Billy Goat Road in Crossville regarding a possible burglary of an outbuilding. Upon arrival, Deputy Fields met with the homeowner, who reported that a neighbor heading to work around 5:30 a.m. had noticed her shed door was wide open and contacted her. When she went to check the shed, she discovered that a large black bag containing an assortment of random hand tools, valued at approximately $1,500, was missing.
