CUMBERLAND COUNTY MAN FACES MULTIPLE METH, DRUG, AND FELON-IN-POSSESSION WEAPON CHARGES IN COURT
Danny Curtis Pigg is scheduled to appear in Cumberland County General Sessions Court on Thursday, May 28, 2026, on multiple drug and weapons-related charges filed in February 2025. He is represented by attorney Howard Upchurch.
The cases stem primarily from a February 16, 2025, incident at 50 Creston Road in Cumberland County. During a search warrant execution, officers discovered approximately 75 grams of a white crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine (located near several firearms), 72 grams of marijuana, small amounts of cocaine and LSD, drug paraphernalia, and $731 in cash.
As a result, Pigg faces charges including manufacturing, delivery, sale, or possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine; manufacturing, delivery, sale, or possession of Schedule VI drugs; two counts of simple possession/casual exchange; and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Additional weapons charges include possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (noted as a prior conviction out of Arizona) and possessing a firearm with intent to go armed while committing a dangerous felony. A separate driving-related charge (driving on a suspended or revoked license) was filed after a May 30, 2025, traffic stop.
