CUMBERLAND COUNTY REPORTS SIGNIFICANT COVID-19 DEATHS INCREASE IN ONE WEEK

Cumberland County’s COVID-19 deaths rose by 4 in one week, bringing the toll to 294 on Saturday, February 5, 2022.  Positive cases increased by 780 over the same period to a total of 15,402 on Saturday, February 5, 2022.  Active cases decreased by 297 to 1,211 on Saturday, February 5, 2022.  Tennessee recorded 71,647 new positive COVID-19 cases in one week, bringing the total to 1,938,323 on Saturday, February 5, 2022.  Deaths increased by 455 across the state, bringing Tennessee’s coronavirus death toll to 23,029 on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
