The Cumberland County Rescue Squad responded to an area on the 9000 block of Genesis Road this morning to check on a man in a camper. The subject was concerned about rising water around his camper from heavy rainfall. The Cumberland County Fire Department came to the scene to assist the rescue squad. Rescuers walked a tethered raft across waist deep slightly swift water to get to 66-year-old Richard Jones and his dog, Hank. Both were transported by raft to land and then taken to family awaiting them.
