Cumberland County Schools is informing the public of a scam regarding employment opportunities.

A group is using the school system’s logo, central office address, as well as teachers’ names.

The email address they are using is @[email protected].

The individuals say you have received a job, and they need money to install equipment so you can work from home.

Please do not send money to these individuals.

The school system does not hire people to work remotely. Should this happen to you, reach out to your local law enforcement.
