The Cumberland County School System reported this afternoon 45 student (UP 6 from last week) and 37 staff (down 13 from last week) active cases of COVID-19. Officials added 562 students (UP 160 from last week) and 39 staff (down 1 from last week) quarantined because of being determined to have had close contact with another individual who tested positive.

Cumberland County Schools will be closed for Winter Break December 21, 2020 until January 4, 2021. All faculty, staff and students will report to school Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

The next COVID-19 data from the school system will be reported Friday, January 8, 2021.
