A Cumberland County registered sex offender appear in general sessions court Thursday. Court officials say 75-year-old John Edward Healy was charged with an attempted sex offender form violation. After entering a guilty plea, Judge Larry Warner gave Healy 11 months and 29 days supervised probation and waived the fees and court costs. Healy was convicted just 5 years ago for sexual exploitation of a minor.
