CUMBERLAND COUNTY SHERIFF CONGRATULATES VALOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

Cumberland County Sheriff Casey Cox helped congratulate Kevin Concepcion, Peyton Russell, Landon Edgeworth, Kaylee Dixon, and Makayla Davis from the V.A.L.O.R. Program (Juvenile Justice Education Program).

V.A.L.O.R (Values, Attitude, Leadership, Order, Respect) is a 12-week life skills program directed by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and other partners that help young people set and keep their “life compass” set to north.

Life is a dangerous highway with many obstacles diverting youth on the wrong road. The goal is to help parents and guardians reinforce sound truths and life skills that help prepare youth for success.

Parents participate with students in several classes including communication and conflict resolution. Parental tools are instructed, giving the family a better chance of navigating life’s highway together.

The next class series will begin November 6, 2023, at 4 p.m.
