Staff of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department is doubling as elves this week to wrap presents for a few children in need and their families. Officials held a golf tournament back in August as well as received donations from citizens to pay for the presents. Student resource officers at each elementary school came up with a list for the sheriff’s office of kids to help make their Christmas better this year. The gifts will be delivered either tomorrow (Tuesday, December 22, 2020) or Wednesday.
