CUMBERLAND COUNTY WOMAN CHARGED WITH VEHICULAR HOMICIDE
A Crossville woman has been charged by the Tennessee Highway Patrol with vehicular homicide and DUI following an accident that took place yesterday (Wednesday, May 17, 2017) on Highway 127 North. Troopers say 36-year-old Meghan E. Wilson of Crossville was traveling southbound in the northbound lane when her 2006 Dodge pickup hit a 2002 Harley Davidson operated by 46-year-old John V. Rowe of Deer Lodge head on. Rowe passed away from injuries sustained while Wilson was not injured in the accident. Wilson is a teacher at Cumberland County High School. Cumberland County Director of Schools Janet Graham says Wilson is on administrative leave pending the outcome of the legal process.
