On August 6, 2025, Deputy Joshua Matthews responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving an ATV on Harris Road in Crossville. Upon arrival, he met an individual who appeared significantly confused and unable to recall details of the incident, including how, when, or where it occurred.

The individual, who admitted to consuming a beer, showed concern about injuries but did not appear intoxicated. The caller, the individual’s wife, could provide no additional details. A Kawasaki Bruteforce ATV in the driveway showed no obvious fresh damage, though grass was wedged between the tires and rims on the left side.

The individual confirmed the incident did not occur on a roadway but could not specify the location. Neither Deputy Matthews nor Deputy Holden Atkinson could locate a VIN on the ATV. EMS transported the individual to CMC for evaluation and treatment.
