CUMBERLAND DEPUTIES RESPOND TO VEHICLE THEFT
On May 28, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle theft at Will Wyatt Lane, Crossville, TN. A resident reported that their silver 2003 Honda Accord, valued at $3,000, was stolen overnight from their home. They suspected their spouse might be involved, but the spouse denied knowledge of the vehicle’s whereabouts, stating it was in the driveway when they left.
Due to their marital status, the deputy noted that if the spouse was responsible, it would be a civil matter. The resident was asked to provide a list of valuable items inside the vehicle. The case remains under investigation, and no one has been officially charged yet.
