CUMBERLAND SHRINE CLUB AUCTION FOR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL A SUCCESS

For the seventh straight year, Crossville Stockyard hosted the Cumberland Shrine Club’s candy auction and 100% of the proceeds go directly to Shriners Hospital for Children. This year’s auction brought in over $18,000. Over the past seven years, the owners, staff, and clients of Crossville Stockyard have raised over $125,000.

Shriners Hospitals for Children has a mission to provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment, provide for the education of physicians and other healthcare professionals, and conduct research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of care and quality of life of children and families. This mission is carried out without regard to race, color, creed, sex or sect, disability, national origin, or ability of a patient or family to pay. Since 1922, over 1.4 million children have been treated at Shriners Hospitals. In 2019, Shriners cared for 145,608 children and invested 38 million dollars in medical research.
