CURVE ON NORTHSIDE DRIVE ADDS TO VEHICLE ACCIDENTS IN CROSSVILLE

A curve on Northside Drive in Crossville next to Aviagen added to the total of vehicle accidents there Friday. The report from the police department released today states a 2009 Pontiac operated by 31-year-old Melissa Renee Hobbs of Inverness, Florida lost control and went into a ditch colliding with another vehicle from an accident a short time earlier. Hobbs and a 5-year-old female passenger escaped injury.

The curve has been the site of numerous accidents. The speed limit there is 30 miles per hour.
