DAD PUNCHED, KILLED MONTH-OLD SON AFTER LOSING VIDEO GAME

A 26-year-old father in Louisville, Kentucky, was so enraged when he lost a video game Friday night that he threw the video-game controller. Then Anthony Trice punched his one-month-old son in the head.

Afterward, according to court documents obtained by local media sources, Trice picked up the baby boy and went to prepare a bottle for him, and dropped the infant.

Trice called 911 when he realized the infant was “in distress.”

The infant was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital, where he died Sunday evening.

Trice had originally been charged with first-degree criminal abuse of a child; those charges have been upgraded to first-degree murder. He’s due in court next Monday.
