ROANE COUNTY DEPUTY ENCOUNTERS BLUNTLY HONEST MAN DURING TRAFFIC STOP
Early this morning, a Roane County deputy conducted a traffic stop for a light-law violation on Harriman Highway, near J.B. Cofer Lane. When he asked 55-year-old Fontaine David King for his driver’s license, King said, “I don’t have one and it’s revoked anyway.”
Central Dispatch confirmed his statement.
King was arrested for a fifth offense of driving on a revoked license.
