We hear about car pursuits in the news a lot…..but what about a police cruiser chasing a person on a bicycle? This happened in Crossville recently as officers say 18-year-old Lonnie P. Davis rode a bicycle in and out of oncoming traffic near the intersection of West Avenue and Miller Bypass. Officers repeatedly told Davis to get out of traffic which was met with defiance and profanities shouted by Davis to the police. Davis then rode down the sidewalk of Miller Bypass  near Cumberland County High School where the chase ended. He was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and evading arrest.
