Crossville police responded to a home on Mockingbird Drive yesterday for an altercation involving a firearm. The arrest report indicates 50-year-old Tammy Wynette Davis got into an argument with a man in the home. When the male reportedly yelled, cursed and made hand movements that caused her to be in fear, Davis allegedly told the man to leave which he refused. She then retrieved a firearm and reportedly pointed it at the male. The report says at no time did he threaten Davis. Officers say Davis cooperated with them and she was taken into custody without incident. Police charged Davis with aggravated domestic assault with a deadly weapon.
