The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department is investigation the circumstances of the death of a man. Officers were called to the 1800 block of Rock Quarry Road for a suspicious vehicle with a person sleeping inside. Deputies found 20-year-old Jordan N. Brown of Castalian Springs, Tennessee (just north of Lebanon in Sumner County) lying in the passenger’s seat covered up with a blanket from the neck down. The officer opened the door and tried to shake Brown to wake him up but he was stiff, had no pulse and cold to the touch. Two neighbors told deputies the vehicle showed up in the overnight hours. The case is under investigation.
