The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a man during a roofing project. Officers and medics responded to the scene Tuesday at a home on the 5,000 block of Highway 70 East where 47-year-old Andres Vasquez Marroqu Heleodoro from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was putting felt on a roof. During the process, he reportedly fell off the roof and struck his head on a piece of concrete. He died at the scene. Officers observed a large amount of blood on and around the concrete piece. At least four other workers present when the incident happened were questioned.
