DEPUTIES EXECUTE DRUG SEARCH ON LEYLAND PRYOR
On the 30th of January, Deputy Blake Richardson of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant on Leyland Pryor Road. The narcotics division had gained enough evidence to obtain a search warrant for illegal narcotics at a house on Leyland Pryor with a suspect by the name of William Likes.
After clearing the house, Likes was not found at the residence. However many illegal narcotics including meth and fentanyl, ledgers, and weighing scales were found.
The deputies heard information that Likes was in a gray Honda Accord at a Circle K gas station. The deputies then located the vehicle and identified a driver who stated he was homeless and had nowhere else to go.
The driver was not charged with anything and will therefore remain unnamed.
However, the deputies did discover Likes in the passenger seat who was asked to step out of the vehicle. While he stepped out, the deputies noticed he was concealing a bag in his hand and after securing it discovered it was containing 3.5 g. Of methamphetamine.
Likes was searched, arrested, and transported to the Cumberland County jail where he was charged with: manufacturer, delivery, sale, or possession of meth; manufacturer, delivery, and sale of a controlled substance; and possession of marijuana.
