Wednesday evening a wreck occurred at the intersection of Miller Ave and Lantana Road. Joshua Smith, age 34, was driving a blue Dodge Caliber while traveling northbound on Miller Ave and failed to stop at the red light. He crashed into a silver Kia Sorento.  In the Kia was Marilyn Shultis, who was taken to Cumberland Medical Center and treated for injuries.
Smith was airlifted to UT Medical Center. Smith’s passenger, Tammy Lowhorn was also taken to UT Medical Center.  The subjects’ conditions are currently unknown.

The investigation of the accident is still ongoing.
