On Monday, a fatal single-vehicle motorcycle crash occurred in Kingston, Roane County, claiming the life of 43-year-old Jason Mullins.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s preliminary report, the incident took place just before 3 p.m. in the 2900 block of Kingston Highway. Investigators determined that Mullins lost control of his motorcycle after hitting a patch of hydraulic fluid on the roadway.

He was wearing a helmet at the time, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
