(Developing Story) – Law enforcement and medics responded around 12:30 p.m. today to the intersection of West Avenue and Miller Bypass for a multi-vehicle crash involving a Crossville police cruiser.

Very little information has been released regarding the accident or injuries involved.

Crossville Police Chief Jessie Brooks told 3B Media News this afternoon an officer was slightly hurt and a passenger with him sustained injuries.

Traffic was backed up at the scene as the crash was investigated.
