ORIGINAL STORY:

A disabled vehicle on Eastbound I-40 near mile marker 356 in Roane County has closed the eastbound right lane and shoulder.

The notification on the TDOT Smart Ways Map reads:

“Interstate 40 Eastbound in Roane – Disabled Vehicle at MILE MARKER 356.2 reported at 12:00 PM 10/24/2024 (Central Time Zone). Eastbound Right Lane (of 2 Lanes) Blocked, Right Shoulder Blocked.”
