Crossville police responded yesterday to a disturbance at Cumberland Medical Group on Lantana Road. The report states as they approached the suspect, 65-year-old Jerry Lynn Stiles of Crossville, a strong odor of alcohol was reportedly coming from Stiles. Medics originally went to the scene for a call of a male passed out possibly experiencing a stroke. Stiles reportedly woke up and became extremely aggressive towards others. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication and banned from the medical group building. Stiles also allegedly threatened numerous times at the jail to kill a law enforcement officer.
