DISTURBANCE AT URGENT CARE BUSINESS IN CROSSVILLE SENDS ONE TO JAIL

Crossville police responded yesterday morning to Fast Pace Urgent Care on Main Street for a disturbance. The arrest report states 49-year-old David James Flockencier of Sparta was not supposed to be with his juvenile child there and was refusing to let go of the child’s arm, according to the suspects wife. Officers asked Flockencier if he was armed which he allegedly replied he had a knife on him. Police were able to free the child from the grasp of the suspect who continued to refuse commands from officers. Flockencier claimed he was assaulted by his wife but witnesses told officers that didn’t happen. He was charged with resisting arrest and taken to jail.
