Cumberland County deputies, fire crews and medics responded to a single vehicle accident Sunday night with the automobile on fire on the 2200 block of Vandever Road. Officers encountered the driver, 63-year-old James F. Dixon of Crossville, who was out of the vehicle and allegedly appeared to be under the influence of medication. Dixon was charged with DUI and taken to the Cumberland County jail.
