DOG KNOCKED TRUCK OUT OF GEAR CAUSING CRASH
Last Wednesday, a Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a vehicle accident on Byers Road. The owner of the vehicle stated he was at his friend’s house to work on his truck, which was a standard transmission. The owner ran in for a minute and left his dog in the truck. The man claimed the dog must have knocked the vehicle out of gear causing it to roll down the hill and run into the neighbor’s porch. The porch did have damage and a bicycle was destroyed that was laying in front of the porch.
