DOLLAR GENERAL EMPLOYEE CHARGED WITH THEFT OF STORE MERCHANDISE

On March 28, 2025, Deputy Tristan Partridge responded to a theft report at a Dollar General located on Lantana Road in Cumberland County, Tennessee. Store staff informed the deputy that a female employee, Nichole Lewis, was being interviewed by the regional asset protection manager.
Lewis was discovered to have been tampering with store item prices, resulting in a loss of approximately $1,000 to the store. During the interview, Lewis admitted to her actions and provided a written statement detailing her misconduct. The asset protection manager requested that Lewis be arrested and supplied Deputy Partridge with Lewis’s statement and a flash drive containing evidence of transactions where prices were inaccurately charged at the register.
