DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER STRIKING CHILD IN WARREN COUNTY
The Tennessee Highway Patrol took a driver into custody late yesterday after the motorist struck a 6-year-old child and kept going on Highland Road in Warren County. The boy went to a mailbox when the incident took place. Authorities issued a lookout for a white Chevy pickup. A tip led troopers to the suspect. The name of the driver and the full report of the hit and run will be released at a later time. The child was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries including a broken leg.
