DRIVER ARRESTED FOR GOING THROUGH BARRICADES DURING ROCKWOOD HIGH PROM PARTY

A driver was arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol Saturday night following going through barricades at the time the Rockwood High School prom party was going on in downtown Rockwood at The Gazebo.

Fortunately, she did not hit anyone but did reportedly strike a Rockwood Police Department cruiser.

Officers say 66-year-old Pamela Foster was taken to jail and charged with DUI, violation of the implied consent law, driving on a revoked or suspended license, and moving barricades.

Rockwood police say the patrol car only had slight damage but were glad that no students were injured during the incident.
