Medics and first responders recently went to a store on Peavine Road near Woodgate Drive in Fairfield Glade for a traffic accident. The crash report states a 2014 Buick sedan driven by 84-year-old Bonnie A. Ritcher of Crossville was parked at Dollar General when her foot slipped off the brake and contacted the gas pedal resulting in the automobile going over the curb and struck the establishment. The impact caused a large hole in the brick wall. No injuries were reported.
