A driver escaped injury in a single vehicle accident Wednesday night in eastern Cumberland County. A 2005 Volkswagen Beetle operated by 18-year-old Kayla Whittenburg was traveling south on Westel Road when the automobile lost traction on the asphalt. The car went off the road, into a ditch and rolled over. Whittenburg was cited for failure to exercise due care.
