Yesterday around 12:55 PM, Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated a motorcycle crash on HWY 70 East.

47-year-old Michael A. Guerico was traveling east on HWY 70 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he lost control in a curve and struck a guardrail. Guerico was reportedly thrown off the motorcycle and went across the guardrail and struck a tree. The motorcycle then came to a rest in the roadway.

Michael Guerico did sustain injuries from the crash and was airlifted out of Rockwood Airport. The police report stated he was wearing his helmet.
