DRIVER OF SUSPICIOUS BOX TRUCK CHARGED AFTER AUTHORITIES FIND NO EXPLOSIVES INSIDE

A driver of a box truck was arrested and charged with an incident yesterday that initially took place in Rutherford County.

Church members and customers at a store initially reported hearing audio, similar to that of the audio played on a loud speaker before the Nashville bombing, coming from a box truck.

Law enforcement took 33-year-old James Turgeon of Murfreesboro into custody on two counts of felony filing a false report and one count of tampering with evidence.

Turgeon reportedly made a similar announcement at Kings Chapel Independent Missionary Baptist Church at Jefferson Pike and Dunaway Chapel Road while church was in service. He was later pulled over in Wilson County on Highway 231.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Special Operations Unit used a robot to check the vehicle and found no explosive device.
