Cumberland County deputies responded to a call of a vehicle that struck a store this week. Officers came into contact with a woman who told them she was driving on Clifty Road in the area of Clifty Store when she came upon a silver Toyota Tacoma occupied by a man. The male told her someone drove his truck and hit the side of the store. The man then sped off. The female told officers he was possibly under the influence. Deputies went to Clifty Store and noted the electric meter damaged and scuff marks with silver paint on the front of the store. The incident is under investigation.
