A multi-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon on I-40 in Cumberland County resulted in no injuries. Troopers say a 2014 Toyota Highlander driven by 40-year-old Jennifer Elizabeth Glass from Lexington Park, Maryland, a 2017 Ford F-150 operated by 48-year-old Mark Anthony Webb from Thompsons Station, Tennessee and a 2003 Mazda pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old juvenile from Bluff City, Tennessee were all traveling west at the 327 mile marker. Webb and the juvenile in the Mazda slowed for heavy traffic when Glass rear ended one of them causing a chain reaction wreck. Glass was charged with failure to yield. The accident slowed westbound traffic at the scene for about an hour.
