The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle accident on Highway 127 North in Cumberland County Monday afternoon. The report released this morning states a 2014 Chevy Cruz driven by 24-year-old Nicholas Duncan of Pall Mall and a 2007 Ford Focus operated by 23-year-old Jeana Campbell of Crossville were both traveling north when Duncan slowed down and rear ended by Campbell. Both vehicles came to stop next to the intersection of Tate Road. The drivers were restrained at the time of the collision and not hurt. Troopers say Campbell was cited for following too close for conditions. The accident caused traffic backups at the scene until it was cleared.
