DRUG ARREST MADE AFTER TRAFFIC STOP ON HIGHWAY 68
A Cumberland County deputy pulled over a motorist yesterday afternoon on Highway 68 for speeding.
The arrest report states that 31-year-old Terrence D. Hence of Detroit, Michigan, was traveling 74 in a 55-mile-per-hour zone near Buck Creek Road.
A K-9 officer gave a positive alert to the possible presence of drugs in the suspects’ vehicle. A search reportedly revealed three clear baggies containing 37 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl. Officers also seized $1,560 in the possession of Hence.
Hence faces a charge of manufacture, sale, and delivery of a controlled substance.
He was taken to the Cumberland County jail and placed under a $75,000 bond.
