DUI ARREST ON LANTANA

On April 18, 2025, Crossville Police Officer Jeremy Beard observed a dark-colored SUV speeding at 66 MPH in a 45 MPH zone on Lantana Road. After initiating a traffic stop, the driver, Joshua Alan Kemmer, exhibited signs of intoxication, including red, glossy eyes, slurred speech, and an odor of alcohol.
Kemmer admitted to having a suspended license due to a prior DUI, lacking a required interlock device in the vehicle, and consuming two 12-oz Coors Light beers two hours prior. During Standard Field Sobriety Tests, Kemmer showed significant impairment, failing the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, Walk and Turn, and One Leg Stand.
He was arrested, and a search warrant was obtained for a blood draw at Cumberland Medical Center.
Kemmer was charged with Driving Under the Influence, and his blood samples were stored as evidence at the Crossville Police Department.
