DUI CRASH RESULTS IN DEATH OF 64-YEAR-OLD MAN IN MORGAN COUNTY
54-Year-Old William Gunter has been charged with vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, driving under the influence, drug paraphernalia, implied consent, and aggressive reckless driving after a crash in Morgan County resulted in the death of 64-year-old Bobbie Hester on Saturday.
A report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol says that Hester was driving a Nissan Rogue with one passenger when William Gunter’s Ford F-250 failed to maintain its Lane and crossed over the center line, striking them head-on.
Three were injured in the crash, with Hester losing his life.
Gunter’s passenger, Randy Peavyhouse, was also arrested and charged with evidence tampering and drug paraphernalia.
