A report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol details the crash that occurred on westbound Interstate 40 on Friday.

An El Camino driven by John Anthony Stachowicz was traveling west in the left lane. A Freightliner semi-tractor driven by Humberto Ortiz was pulling a semi-trailer and traveling west in the right lane when Stachowicz’s El Camino blew a right front tire, causing it to lose control and cross the center line.

The El Camino struck the Freightliner and after the collision, both vehicles left the roadway to the left, through a ditch. The El Camino came to rest at the edge of the wood line while the Freightliner continued past, striking several standing trees before coming to rest at the edge of the tree line.

No one was injured in the crash.
