Cumberland Co. EMA in conjunction with Cumberland Co. Fire Dept., Crossville Fire Dept., Fairfield Glade Fire Dept., and Fairfiled Glade Police will be conducting an emergency exercise at the Good Samaritans Society facility in Fairfield Glade this morning, June 20, 2024.

Exercises like this are conducted to ensure that all emergency response agencies have a chance to pre-plan for large scale emergencies and allow responders a chance to work together to formulate best practices for when a real emergency arises.

While there will be a heavy presence of emergency personnel, vehicles, and equipment, there is no need for concern. The exercise is expected to conclude around Noon today. – From: CCCEMA
