Emergency responders efficiently contained a small detached garage fire early this morning along State Route 68, with officials describing the incident as “cut and dry.”

At approximately 8:32 AM today, crews were dispatched to a property located at Highway 68. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke billowing from the top of the structure.

Emergency vehicles secured the scene by 8:54 AM, utilizing approximately 500 gallons of water to quickly extinguish the flames. Cumberland County Fire and Rescue confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
