EMPLOYEE CAUGHT STEALING OXYCODONE PILLS FROM CROSSVILLE WALGREENS

On Wednesday, a Crossville City officer responded to Walgreens for a theft report.

When the officer arrived, he spoke with the manager who stated that an employee had stolen some medication on July 8, 2023. The employee, who was at the scene, was identified as 26-year-old Felica Anderson. According to the police report, Ms. Anderson alleged that she had stolen one-hundred and twenty Oxycodone 10mg pills from the pharmacy.

When asked why she took the pills, and she allegedly told the officer that she had intended to sell the pills but ended up giving them to a family member. However, she would not give the name of the family member the pills were given to.

The manager stated that the total value of the pills that were stolen was $146.40. The officer issued Ms. Anderson a citation for theft and was given a General Session court date in mid August.
