EMPLOYEE FIRED AND ARRESTED FROM ROANE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE

Kingston, TN- An employee of the Roane County Clerk’s Office was arrested and fired last Thursday after an exchange between two employees got heated inside the office at the courthouse.

The report states, that the incident occurred on August 29th inside the County Court Clerk’s Office between two females identified as employee Laura Eiche and employee Callie Crabtree.

According to the report,  Laura got up to empty her trash can into the bigger bin when Crabtree supposedly made some type of statement toward her with an expletive, then got up and dumped her trash can over Eiche’s head. That’s when the assault occurred as Crabtree allegedly took Eiche to the ground and began to strike her before being broken up by employees and the courthouse security officer. Witnesses inside the clerk’s office corroborated the story as well. Crabtree was arrested the next day on simple assault charges which is a misdemeanor and was released on a $1,000 bond with conditions she is no longer to be around the County Court Clerk’s office.

She was terminated as far as her employment, and set to appear in court next month to face the charge.
